Rezumat

The cultural transfer of the act of translation of the «culturèmes» of the source language into the target language triggers a process of searching correspondences and equivalences which allow the linguistic functionality of the text translated into the target language. Several theoreticians define translation through equivalences as a symmetrical relationship between mutually replaceable units, without triggering significant differences. Based on the taxonomy of Gozalez Gladys, who postulates the existence of 7 types of equivalence in the interpretative translation (similar at a pragmatic level with the translation by equivalences), we would like to approach the translatability of ethno cultural texts on the connotative level of: a) linguistic equivalence; b) stylistic equivalence; c) semantic equivalence; d) formal equivalence. The research will cover the investigational field based on the cultural references of fairy tales of French authors such as: Charles Perrault, Anatole France, Marcel Ayme, offered to the Romanian archreader.
