One of the main concerns of N. Corlăteanu was the study of lexicology and lexicography, where the illustrious scholar was even a pathfinder. In the history of Bessarabian lexicography, the forerunner N. Corlăteanu comes into prominence, particularly through the bilingual dictionaries, namely through those Russian-Romanian, some of them called then Moldavian. After 1990, with the transition to the Latin script, there is a „explosion” in the lexicography’s industry of Bessarabia. Many explanatory and bilingual general dictionaries began to appear, particularly Russian-Romanian, RomanianRussian, and dictionaries of other languages too. Now in the worldwide lexicography it can be observed a long process of change, of modernization of the means of drafting, of editing, of the lexicographical works’ consultation. At a pace more or less rapid, it is made the transition from the classical format dictionaries, published on paper, to dictionaries created in special programs of dictionaries’ writing. |
