Este examinată răspândirea buburuzei Harmonia axyridis Pallas (Coleoptera: Coccinellidae) pe continentul European. Este argumentată invazia ei pe teritoriul Republicii Moldova. În colectarile de câmp ale coccinelidelor partea H. axyridis atingea 94%, iar partea Coccinella septempunctata L. şi Adalia bipunctata L. nu depăşea 7% şi respectiv 2, 5%. Aceasta denotă că specia substituie coccinelidele native şi devine dominantă. În populaţia H. axyridis, care a invadat teritoriul Republicii Moldova, au fost depistate 4 morfotipuri principale cu o preponderenţă de 93, 5 – 96% a morfotipul succinea. Frecvenţa medie prezenţei indivizilor morfotipurilor spectabilis şi conspicua constitua 4, 0 % şi respectiv 1, 5%. Sunt prezentate principalele consecinţe negative ale invaziei H. axyridis.

The spread in Europe of multicoloured Asian ladybird Harmonia axyridis Pallas (Coleoptera: Coccinellidae) was discussed. Its invasion in the Republic of Moldova has been demonstrated. The percentage of H. axyridis in the field collection of the coccinellids was shown to be equal up to 90% whereas that of the native species Coccinella septempunctata L. and Adalia bipunctata L. was found 7% and 2%, respectively. Hence, the invasive species rapidly extrudes the native species of coccinellids and becomes a dominant species among the predatory ladybirds. Three main morphotypes in the H. axyridis population invaded Moldova were identified: the dominating succinea morphotype (the average frequency 93.5-96.0%) and minor spectabilis and conspicua (4.0% and 1.5%, respectively). The major negative consequences of the invasion of H. axyridis are discussed.
