Рассматриваются особенности жаргонизированной речи автомобилистов г. Кишинэу. Особое внимание уде- ляется выявлению источников, из которых пополняется лексический состав автомобильного жаргона, характе- ристике наиболее продуктивных способов и моделей словообразования в данной сфере, распределению специ- фичной для автолюбителей лексики по тематическим группам.

În articol sunt prezentate particularităţile limbajului jargonizat al conducătorilor auto din Chişinău. Atenţie deosebită se acordă identificării izvoarelor ce completează lexicul jargonului auto. Sunt caracterizate cele mai productive metode şi modele de formare a cuvintelor din această sferă şi se propune sistematizarea lexicului specific conducătorilor auto conform grupărilor tematice.

The features of Chisinau motorists’ slang has been analyzed in the article. Special attention has been devoted to identifying the sources which enrich the lexical composition of automobile jargon; the most productive ways and patterns of word formation in the field have been characterized; the distribution of specific motorists’ vocabulary has been divided into the thematic groups.
