În cântecul liric, datorită asocierii melodiei cu versul, putem realiza o „chirurgie“ a acesteia pentru a analiza ornamentele integrate, calitatea lor, locul în cadrul discursului muzical şi funcţia în edificiul sonor. Analizând diferite tipuri melodice ale cântecului liric propriu-zis din zona de codru, am observat preferinţa pentru modele ornamentale, care includ atât note şi pasaje ornamentale, cât şi ornamentele propriu-zise. Combinaţia diferitor elemente ornamentale duce uneori la o juxtapunere destul de lungă, creând, astfel, melisme ornamentale. Segmentele excesiv ornamentate oferă o evoluţie terasată întregii creaţii în baza unei estetici a temporizării, tergiversării, a „levitaţiei“ ornamentale.

In the lyric song, due to the association between verse and melody, we can perform a certain „surgery“ on the melody in order to analyze the integrated ornaments, their quality and place in the musical discourse and their function in the musical edifice. By analyzing different melodic types of the actual lyric song from the „codru“ area we have noticed the preference for ornamental models, which include musical notes and ornamental passages, as well as the preference for actual ornaments. The combination between different ornaments leads to quite a long juxtaposition, creating, therefore, ornamental vocal runs. The segments that are excessively ornamented offer a levelled evolution for the whole work due to some kind of aesthetics based on delay and ornamental „levitation“.
