The paper is dedicated to the multilayered Upper Palaeolithic site of Mira in the Middle Dnieper basin. Particular attention is given to the fact that most of the raw materials used by the inhabitants of the site appear to be of East Carpathian origin. This allows supposing this case to be an example of a long distance migration of a small group of hunter-gatherers.

Studiul este dedicat sitului Mira, ce are mai multe straturi ale paleoliticului superior, din bazinul Niprului Mijlociu. O atenţie deosebită este acordată faptului că majoritatea materiilor prime utilizate de către locuitorii sitului pare să fie de origine est-carpatică. Prin urmare, se poate presupune că în cazul dat avem un exemplu de migrare la distanţă lungă a unui grup mic de vânători-culegători.

Статья посвящена многослойной стоянке верхнего палеолита Мира на Среднем Днепре. Особое внимание уделено факту использования обитателями стоянки каменного сырья, происходящего из Восточно-Карпатского региона. Это позволяет утверждать, что в настоящем случае мы имеем пример переселения на большое расстояние малочисленной группы охотников-собирателей.
