| Rezumat | ||||||
Random error-correcting codes based on quasigroups transformations are proposed elsewhere. They are similar to convolution codes and the dependence of the properties of the codes from the used quasigroups are investigated in earlier paper of ours. In this paper we compare the Random error correcting codes based on quasigroups with the well know Reed-Muller and Reed-Solomon codes. The obtained experimental
results show that in the case when the bit-error probability of binary symmetric channel is p > 0.05 (p > 0.06) then the random codes based on quasigroups over perform the Reed-Muller and Reed-Solomon codes for the packet-error probability (for the bit-error probability)..
