Minimally invasive supravesical diversion of the locally advanced urine bladder tumours sometimes is the only chance to prolong the patient’s life and quality of life. In the period 2006-2011, there have been carried out 68 percutaneous nephrostomies in 50 patients with advanced tumours of the bladder with varying degrees of hydronephrosis. The results were relatively good; 23 patients recieved specific treatment after normalization of kidney failure. Ultrasound-guided percutaneous nephrostomy is the optimal method of treatment of infrarenal obstructions and renal inadequacy in this category of patients, improving the quality of life of the patient, and in some cases offers the possibility to perform surgical or chemo-radiotherapeutic treatment. |
