Rezumat

The p-nitroaniline, o-nitroaniline, p-chloroaniline, o-chloroaniline and aniline removal from aqueous solutions, by active carbon retention, was experimentally studied. Four new kinds of active carbon - obtained from peach, plum and grape stones, as well as from nut shells - were used, and their physico-chemical and structural characteristics were given. The adsorbtion capacity expression, in terms of monolayers equivalent number, and comparative analysis with the maximal values resulting from the Dubinin-Raduschievici equation, allowed the adsorbtion mechanism study. The fractalities for the abovementioned active carbons were also determined.
