From past to present, humans have lived intertwined with animals and shared the environment they live in with them. In this common life, animals have been valued for their contribution to human life. With the domestication of animals, some animals have become closer to humans in dwellings. These developments have led to the formation of a production area in time to meet the care, nutrition, protection and clothing needs of animals. As the world develops and societies transition to different lifestyles, the business field for animals in the producer and consumer cycle has expanded and has taken its place in the fashion industry in the context of new design needs. In this study; The equipment of domestic animals in the historical process, its reflections on the art of the period, and the designs made in the field of pet clothing today will be examined and evaluated. Written and virtual sources will be scanned in the study. |
