Rezumat

The levels of antibodies to bacterial (tuberculin staphylococcus, pneumococcus, streptococcus) and viral (herpes measles, rubella, parotiditis, influenza) antigens were determined in 39 patients with trigeminal neuralgia (TN) aggravation of which 25 were untreated, while 14 had received a course of the cadaveric nerve specific tissue therapy. 46 healthy subjects and 31 patients with trigeminal neuropathy served control. The study proved that TN patients had significantly increased levels of herpes virus antibodies (p≤0.01). The above tissue therapy stimulated production of antibodies to rubella and parotiditis viruses.
