Paisie Velicikovski's personality was the source of interest for several researchers in a wide diachronic segment, including Andronic Popovici. The interest in his work arouses our interest by the fact that on the one hand the author makes an analysis of the works with reference to Paisie up to him, and on the other hand presents in turn a work that completes the reference data on the personality of the abbot from Neamț and Secu especially from the point of view of its economic activity. We consider that the work of Andronic Popovici, which has both compilative-analytical and original elements, remains one of the most complete with reference to the activity of Paisie Velicikovski, as abbot especially in Moldova, at the monasteries Dragomirna, Secu and Neamț.
