This dialogue between the writer Igor Guzun and the priest Constantin Necula records the “Fain & Simplu” conference, which took place in Chisinau in October 2023, brought together 1,700 people and became a true cultural event. University professor Dr. Constantin Necula, one of the most beloved Romanian priests, also attended this conference – the largest so far. “I have lived the Romanian language like a daily fairy tale and that led me to the conclusion that Someone created the Romanian language over our fevered heads,” confesses Father Constantin Necula. In addition, he pointed out: “The Romanian language is the language through which I am close to God with all my fears and victories, sorrows and smiles, laughter and humility.” In the space of this interview, the two interlocutors talk about the power of the word, about the books that father Constantin Necula wrote with such simplicity and depth, about the joy and importance of handwriting and about other fundamental things for human life.
