Rezumat

Aesthetic perception and oral health-related quality of life associated with dental fluorosis have found themselves at the center of scientific research. A detailed investigation of these ideas is analyzed and clarified in the interest of bett understanding. Understanding the conflict of opinions between nations, communities, and individuals. The importance of educating the public and maintaining steady progress in increasing awareness. The aesthetic perception and psychosocial demeanor to dental fluorosis. Also, an evaluation of oral health related to the quality of life. A secondary research, qualitative study, the narrative synthesis of 37 selected bibliographic sources from PubMed, NCBI, Google Scholar, and other scientific journals based on the keywords related to the research topic; 2000-2022; language: English. A collection of varied results explained aspects of research on fluoride and dental fluorosis in society. Depending on the geographical location, consumption of fluoride concentration, and severity the impression of dental fluorosis differs. Some suggest that fluoride consumption needs to be managed by the individual. While others consider it the responsibility of the government to regulate. In addition, many agreed that education for prevention purposes has been a beneficial step forwards to improve dental fluorosis cases. It allows for better understanding and awareness in daily life especially beneficial in cases of children. Recently, studies focused on assessing the severity of dental fluorosis and its effects on society, and its impact on the quality of life of the individual. Because dental fluorosis occurs due to fluoridization and artificial intake of fluoride everywhere. It allows us to assess each nation separately in consideration of social perception, knowledge, community programs, and government strategies. It allows for different views on the same issue. The issue begins with the need for management of the increased cases of dental fluorosis in recent years. Also, the public understands the importance of regulating fluoride for themselves and others close to them. It is a critical time to make such changes as the significance of aesthetic and oral health increases. Overall, aesthetic implication with the collaboration of quality of life is a tool to understand detailed fluorosis perception worldwide and shape the state of clinical practice, dental research, dental education and create changes in the community at large.
