Rezumat

This article’s purpose is the research of the concept of durability, as well as the analysis of some succesful examples regarding the implementation of durable business models in some of the most developed countries in this field. Also, adaptation methods of some durable business models to the so-economic context of the Republic of Moldova are analysed. In the contemporary world, the priorities of humankind are not limited to providing the basic conditions for existence and the race for quick technological development isn’t a current tendency either. The primary vector is perfecting that which already exists. Circular economy, green economy, the launch of continuos consumption cycles, durable production are just a few of the aspects explored in this research. Therefore, by determining the vectors of durable business development, we can create not only advantages of economic character, but social ones as well, firstly by minimizing the impact on the environment and maintaining the quality of life at a high level.
