Rezumat

DC magnetization measurements in low magnetic fields revealed the spin-glass-like and reentrant spin-glass behavior at low temperatures in crystals of the MnCr2-2xIn2xS4 system in the substitution range 0 ≤ x ≤ 0.5. Reentrant magnetic behavior was observed for 0 ≤ x ≤ 0.10. Magnetization curves for MnCr1.4In0.6S4 and MnCrInS4 spinels were measured in magnetic fields up to 50 kOe in order to determine the effects of random anisotropy. The experimental results are discussed in terms of the existing models.
