The article provides a brief description of the stages of activism development aiming to stop violence against women, starting from 1791 when the phenomenon begins to be recognized as being very dangerous as it flagrantly violates the fundamental human rights. There were made brief referrals to the development stages of soft and hard law governing the activism to stop violence against women of all kinds and to respect their right |
