The interest in the methodology of the management of the long-range training system for young and qualified athletes is believed to be a fairly old established issue. The great number of terms, concepts, and definitions striped of any specific content do not allow us to make out clearly the principal directions leading to solving this topical problem. By now we have arrived at the necessity to lay down a number of general scientific approaches that are to develop and to extend our primary perceptions, such as package, meta-object, target-oriented, system, structured, functional, and technological approaches.
