The author examines the necessity of promoting the scientific truth about the language and identity of basarabian romanians. He pleads for the elaboration of a national linguistic policy; the writing up of a strategic plan concerning the reconciliation of interetnic dissensions, relying only on scientific truth and excluding completely the false and pomp; the research of aspects regarding the social functions of language as an integrative factor of a state’s population; the identifi cation of the whole national
educational objectives, that are to be established on the following pylons: Romanian language, the Romanian literature, culture,history and spirituality.
