Rezumat | ||||||
The protection of the human being, expressed in the broadest sense by the phrase „human rights”, has been the subject of ideas and concepts since antiquity and we find them in the work of great philosophers and jurists of the time, such as Plato, Aristotle, Protagoras, Confucius or Ulpian. The passage of time has amplified these ideas, either through religious conceptions of man or through increasingly systematized philosophical conceptions. Names like Immanuel Kant, J.J. Rousseau, Montesquieu, Grotius, Hobbes or John Locke are perhaps the most representative in universal philosophy of human destiny as a rational being and supreme value to be protected and developed. |
