Rezumat | ||||||
Corruption is one of the social phenomena that increasingly places itself at the center of attention of scientists, politicians and public figures. Although the various aspects of this phenomenon have been discussed by philosophers since ancient times (Plato, Aristotle, Hobbes, Machiavelli, etc.), the topic of corruption became the object of multilateral scientific research only toward the end of the 20th century. The phenomenon of corruption is currently studied by a variety of sciences, such as sociology, law, psychology, anthropology, history, etc., the most recent being the political approach. The obvious inefficiency of the measures taken by specialized institutions, of anticorruption policies, requires that scientists in different fields focus their efforts on studying the nature of corruption as a social phenomenon. |
