Rezumat

Purpose: Customizing communication programs, awareness and training in the cybersecurity (CS) field for the different organizational levels based on measuring the level of corporate culture, the needs of the entity and the news in the field of cyber security. Design/methodology/approach: The paper elucidates a synthesis of models and programs of continuous training in the field of CS for the different levels of users and target groups for the implementation of cybersecurity controls. Finding: In the modern information society, ensuring cybersecurity has become a vital global task on the agenda of all states and organizations of all types, industries and sizes. At the same time, CS is significant for any individual connected to the Internet, the number of active users being about 4.66 billion, or 59.5% of the total world population of 7.83 billion (https://financesonline.com/number-of-internet-users). Users spend on average about 4.5 hours a day on the Internet; about 92.6% access the World Wide Web from mobile devices and each of them can be exposed to CS threats. Within this context, communication, awareness and Cybersecurity culture training for employees at all organizational levels is important and crucial for the survival, growth and defense of the businesses, as over 70% of CS incidents are caused willingly or unwillingly by human actions. Research Limitations/implications: This paper explains the practical-applicative aspects of sustainable corporate training in the field of SC through personalized program and form awareness. The proposed tools allow the right decision-making and the CS formation corporate cultures according to the specific needs of the entity. Practical implications: Communication, awareness and continuous training in the CS field becomes more accessible, more transparent and more efficient, even for individual users at the cyber hygiene level. Originality/value: Educating employees about cyber risks and creating a corporate CS culture is a relatively new trend. The paper uses an original approach of the CS culture formation. Because the cyber threat is crucial, multifaceted, and constantly evolving, the assistance of organizations and individual users in shaping good digital hygiene is valuable.
