Forensic characterization of a criminal offense is extremely important for the detection and investigation of domestic violence. In the system of forensic characterization, the method of committing the crime occupies a key place. The classification of methods of perpetration depends on the type of violence, according to which it is possible to distinguish: psychological, economic and physical. After analyzing court practice, we identified the most common ways of committing domestic violence. Learning how crimes are committed helps us to effectively investigate them, especially at the initial stage.
