<cfAbstr cfLangCode='EN' cfTrans='o'>Nowadays in the Republic of Moldova the serious, systematical and systemically
analyses there are not realized, a fragmentary description is noted as
the best case. The topic of the electoral system is discussed exclusively in the
context of the political struggle. This fact is inadmissible for the autochthonous
political science which must realize their functions.
The neglect of the electoral system from the part of the science raises information
and visions vacuum in this area, as consequence mentioned the political
system efficiency decrease. The electoral culture of the Moldavian society and
especially political elite is deprived of the necessary support. As the result, we
have aberrant paraphrases or misinterpretations of the electoral rules and projects
of the electoral system modification.
The main objective of this paper is the theoretical elaboration of the electoral
system's evaluation criteria, which represents the analysis and description
basis of the electoral system. In the first part of the study, are analyzed the evaluation's
criteria and their imperfections of the electoral systems used in the contemporary
political science. The second part of the study is focused on the methodological
aspects of the evaluation's criteria of the electoral systems. In the
third part of the paper the evaluation's criteria of the electoral systems are proposed
and argued.</cfAbstr>
