The formation of sociocultural competence of students is one of the most actual problems in the methodical literature of late. The given article reviews the role of publicistic texts in the process of teaching foreign languages and cultures. The article deals with the most important methods of working with the publicistic texts at the lessons of a foreign language, promotting the improvement of linguistic and sociocultural competence of students. |
