Статья посвящена одной из актуальных проблем 21 века – проблеме внедрения различных информационных технологий в систему образования. Этот процесс имеет названия – цифровизация. Такой процесс предполагает изменения системы образования. Меняется организация образовательного процесса и структура обучения. Эти изменения заложены и описаны в документах, которые представлены в статье, на федеральном, региональном и муниципальном уровнях. Цифвроизация образования имеет законодательную базу и существует ряд проектов в РФ, направленных на внедрение и повсеместное использование различных информационно-коммуникационных технологий. Такое внедрение имеет ряд достоинств и недостатков, описанных в статье, а также имеется оценка населения о том, как происходит в стране процесс цифровизации.

The article is devoted to one of the urgent problems of the 21st century - the problem of introducing various information technologies into the education system. This process is called digitalization. Such a process involves changes in the education system. The organization of the educational process and the structure of training are changing. These changes are laid down and described in the documents presented in the article at the federal, regional and municipal levels. Digital education has a legislative framework and there are a number of projects in the Russian Federation aimed at the introduction and widespread use of various information and communication technologies. Such an implementation has a number of advantages and disadvantages described in the article, and there is also an assessment of the population about how the digitalization process is taking place in the country.
