The end of the 20th century - the beginning of the 21st century is marked by a global information revolution, the product of which is the intensive embodiment of the idea of an interdependent and interconnected world or globalization. Globalization as a global process affects all spheres of public life: economy, science, culture, education, etc. An essential way of preserving the national identity of the people in the context of globalization is the formation of patriotic feelings among young students as a person’s conscious desire to act in accordance with his value orientations. One of the most effective ways of patriotic education of students of the MIA Police Academy „Stefan cel Mare” of the Republic of Moldova is the formation of patriotic consciousness on the basis of military traditions. Tradition carries on its time-tested experience, which allowed previous generations or other social groups to achieve certain progress in the past, a result which was fixed in people’s minds as something positive. |
