Rezumat

The brown marmorated stink bug, Halyomorpha halys (Stal), 1855 (Hemiptera: Pentato-midae) (BMSB) – an invasive species with a natural range of China, Japan, the countries of the Korean peninsula. The stink bug is a dangerous quarantine pest included in the Common List of quarantine facilities of the Eurasian Economic Union. In recent years, the pest has spread to North America, Europe and Russia, where serious damage has been recorded to various vegeta-ble crops and fruit trees. In Europe, it was first identified in 2007. On the territory of the Russian Federation, the stink bug was found in early August 2014 in the decorative plantations of the city of Sochi, Krasnodar Territory [2, 3]. In 2019, the invasive species was first detected on the territory of the Republic of Moldo-va. Thus, the first stink bug specimens, namely larvae of II-III ages, we discovered in August 2019 on plants Hibiscus syriacus L. fam. Malvaceae. Later, at the end of the 2019 season and during the 2020 growing season (cropping season), as a result of visual observation, the pest was discovered by us on other species of cultural and decorative plants, including the high num-ber of bugs was registered on the white mulberry Morus alba L. [1]. Over the past few years, BMSB has been rapidly gaining momentum in the development and distribution of new territo-ries, including the territory of the Republic of Moldova. One of the main reasons why the pest is comfortably multiplying - favorable climatic conditions for this species, as well as abundance of plant food. Studies of biological features of invasive pests always have a strict local binding, so their conduct is necessary and on the territory of the Republic of Moldova. The aim of this work was to study some biological features of the development of the BMSB marble stink bug in the agroclimatic conditions of the Republic of Moldova.
