Yakimenko L.N. Polemical journalism of Ivan Bagriany in the measurements of intertextuality (based on the pamphlet «Why I don’t want to go back to the USSR?»). Ukrainian writer and journalist Ivan Bagriany in post-war political emigrant journalism has raised a number of important issues, particularly relevant to voluntary and involuntary Ukrainian settlers in Western Europe. One of the most important problems is the forced repatriation from European countries to the USSR after the Second World War. In his polemic pamphlet «Why I don’t want to go back to the USSR?» Ivan Bagriany explains the reasons for the reluctance of Ukrainians to travel to the Soviet Union by the example of his life, using different forms of intertextuality. The analysis of this problem is done in the article.
