The essential obligation of establishing general consumer protection requirements, ensuring the necessary framework for unrestricted access to products and services, providing complete information regarding their main features, protecting and ensuring the legitimate rights and interests of the consumers in case of incorrect commercial practice, their participation in substantiating and decision-making as consumers - belongs to the state. In this sense, we propose to identify the main state measures aimed at protecting consumers from the overflow of plastic products placed on the Moldovan market, contrary to the restrictions imposed by law, based on the conducted investigation.
