Rezumat

The report presents the results of a study conducted between 2020 and 2021 to investigate the short- and long-term effects of occupational stress on staff working in social protection services and special education. The research methodology – composed of established tests, but also of inventories and questionnaires translated or even elaborated by the author - is analysed. The main identified structural stressors are also described in detail. The research data were used to structure a training-on-the-job program for front line staff from the social protection services, a program that was applied between November 2020 and March 2021 on a sample of 144 specialists with positive results.
