In the novel Zbor frânt (The Broken Flight) from 1966 and then in the other, Via#a şi
moartea nefericitului Filimon sau anevoioasa cale a cunoaşterii de sine (The Life and Death of the Unfortunate Filimon or the Laborious Path of Self-knowledge), from 1988, Vladimir Besleaga proved a considerable excess of the „dictated” level and of the „creative” socialistrealist method imposed by the totalitarian regime. First of all, issues raised by the writer, as the need to preserve humanity, even against all diffi culties, including against the war, the need to know human identity, the need for its survival, as well as narrative techniques „exploited” by the writer (interior monologue, soliloquy, mise en abyme, etc.), all convince us that the writer has been recognized as a personality that presaged the post-Soviet novel after 1991. |
