Rezumat

Being a contradictory process, glocalization tends to cause conflicts in all spheres of human life including education. Modern science worked out an institution of mediation to prevent conflicts in the academic environment of universities as well. It is university teachers who have to perform this role in the absence of sufficient number of professional mediators. Mediation competence of university teachers is of special importance while teaching international students and can be performed both directly and indirectly.
