The war of 1914-1918 was the first war in which the components of the military art were fully manifested, taking into account the features of the armed struggle inherent to this period. The war showed an increasing dependence of the armed struggle and the military art on economy and politics, on the industrial power of the country. The war demonstrated the influence of a certain country’s population ethics on the army and its combat effectiveness. |
