Rezumat

In this article are presented the facts regarding the targeted development of the coordinative capacities of the 16-17 years old rugby players after the application of a new experimental program. Starting from the hypothesis that the use of the targeted development ways of the coordinative capacities of junior rugby players within the sports training will influence over their whole coordinative potential, it was elaborated the preparation program for the 16-17 years old athletes, including methods and means specific to the rugby game for the development of coordinative capacities. At the program elaboration, the specialists opinion was respected which they exposed on the issue of the coordinative capacities development, the competitive scheduler was also respected, which on its basis the evolution was achieved, afterwards it were assessed the learning and performance goals. The development level of the coordinative capacities was tested on the basis of 11 indicators. It was ascertained that the submitted hypothesis was approved, all the tested coordinative indicators have been improved, to all the 16-17 years old junior rugby players which followed the program elaborated by us.
