The article reviews recent publications dealing the relationships between Collembola and other groups of soil invertebrates, including the investigation on their biodiversity and importance to ecosystems functioning. Being one of the major microarthropod groups Collembola play an important role in plant litter decomposition process and occupy one of the key positions in the detritus food web. |
