Background. A modern didactic approach involves the functional integration of the student's skills and attitudes and presents attractiveness and originality. The teacher uses formative teaching strategies that contribute to the efficiency of the educational process. Objective of the study. The purpose is to analyze the process of study Romanian as a foreign language and to identify effective teaching strategies in assimilating vocabulary and developing students' communication skills. Material and Methods. The methods of investigation are theoretical and praxiological: scientific documentation, analysis, observation and questionnaire. The active-participatory teaching strategies implemented in order to form students' language and communication skills are identified and analyzed. Results. The primary factor that ensures efficient and fast language assimilation is motivation. Thus, in order to maintain the interest for the studied language, a teacher diversifies the arsenal of teaching methods and strategies, connecting the offered contents to the student's needs. The first step is to establish a lexical minimum to be assimilated, opting for lexemes with an increased frequency in everyday communication, included in the basic vocabulary unaffected by the dynamics of the Romanian language. The next step is to choose the materials and teaching means that will make it easier to assimilate the provided information. Conclusion. The process of teaching-learning the Romanian as a foreign language is a continuous one. It exceeds the limits of the classroom. The competencies assimilated during the lesson will be developed through constant integration in the Romanian linguistic environment. |
