Background. Heart Failure remains to be a serious problem with significant weight on a global scale, whose prevalence is in continuous growth. Despite the fact that prevention and treatment measures have been greatly improved, mortality and morbidity remain to be high. Objective of the study. Evaluation of clinical manifestations in patients with Chronic Heart Failure (CHF). Material and Methods. The study involved 65 patients from cardiology and internal medicine departments of PMSI MCH “Sfîntul Arhangel Mihail” from 2018-2019-time period. The average age of the patients was 63,8±10,2 years.For statistical analysis was used T-student criteria. Results. The main etiological factors in CHF were: Ischemic cardiomyopathy, Hypertension and Diabetes mellitus type 2. diagnosed to 95,8%, 93,8% and 23% of patients respectively. Categorizing the patients according to NYHA classification, grades I, II, II, IV was established that,0% were included in grade I;4,6% in grade II; 70,7% -grade III and 26,15 % in grade IV respectively. Symptoms related to Left Ventricular Failure(LVF) were: dyspnea (100%) varying in severity ; fatigue presented to 46,1% of patients; Cyanosis(16,9%); basal crackles (26,1%).Right Ventricular failure symptom(RVF) were gastrointestinal manifestations(15,3%);peripheral edema(60%); acrocyanosis (7,6%). Conclusion. CHF symptomatology is broad and it is characterized by the failure of one or both ventricles. Usually, the symptoms progress from left ventricle(LV) to right ventricle(RV). |
