<dc:description xml:lang='en'><p>The purpose of this article is to study the regional transformation process in the context of public administration. Methods such as analysis of scientific publications, generalization and systematization were used. The article provides descriptions of the concepts &ldquo;region&rdquo;, &ldquo;transformation of the region&rdquo;, &ldquo;transformation of regions&rdquo;. The realized goals and principles of the transformation of regions, the sources of financing used for the transformation, the achievements of the parties interested in the transformation process, and the transformation of politics are investigated. Also, a study for stimulating the transformation of regions, as well as the transformation of rundown regions is contained in the article. The problematic issues that appear in the process of transformation are indicated.</p></dc:description>
