In this article the author comes up with arguments in favor of the idea of the
importance of Sociology as a science for public administration. Possession of
sociological knowledge by a public servant will enable him/her to analyze the
social reality in a competent way. to develop appropriate strategies and tech
nologies to become a manager with sociological skills, to be able to perceive the
social environment, to take into account the society's reaction to administrative
decisions.
