În cei peste 100 de ani de acumulări creatoare, teatrul muzical românesc a oferit interpreți de renume mondial, dar și compoziții de certă valoare. Abordarea repertoriului românesc a fost și este o constantă în activitatea didactică a disciplinei Clasă de operă din cadrul Facultății de Interpretare, Compoziție și Studii Muzicale Teoretice de la Universitatea Națională de Artă George Enescu din Iași (România). Marcând evenimentele legate de sărbătorirea realizării unității naționale și totodată a folosirii oficiale a limbii române, două manifestări artistice studențești ale anului 2019 au apelat în exclusivitate la repertoriul românesc: Pagini de operă românească și Sonorități lirice românești. Conceptul tematic și conducerea muzicală au aparținut doamnei lector univ. dr. Consuela Radu-Țaga, iar regia artistică a purtat semnătura doamnei lector univ. dr. Dumitriana Condurache.

In the over 100 years of creative accumulations, the Romanian musical theatre has offered world-renowned opera singers, but also works of significant value. The approach of the Romanian repertory has been and is a constant in the didactic activity of the Opera Class within the Faculty of Performance, Composition and Theoretical Musical Studies from George Enescu National University of Arts in Iași (Romania). Marking the events related to the celebration of the National Unity holiday and the official use of the Romanian language, two artistic manifestations performed by students in 2019 resorted exclusively to Romanian repertory: Pages of Romanian Opera and Romanian Lyrical Sonorities. The thematic concept and musical guidance belonged to university lecturer, Dr. Consuela Radu-Țaga, and the direction was signed by university lecturer, Dr. Dumitriana Condurache. The pageant on the meridians of the Romanian musical theater started from the historical opera, passed through the dramatic accents imposed by the popular drama, advancing chronologically to the frothy genre of the operetta. There was no lack of children’s opera, or of the intimate sonorities of chamber opera.
