Under the tumultuous conditions created by a society in which the great intellectual values of the Romanian people are ignored and forgotten in the darkness of an unfair and damaging forgetfulness there also appear certain moments of revelation in which we remember we have a solid national foundation, based on the undoubted qualities that were transmitted to us as genetic inheritance by our famous forerunners who were not a bit below their contemporaries from throughout the world. We consider worth pointing out that the Romanian people, although it was hardly tried by the vicissitudes of history, has always identified its most valuable spiritual resources for a dignified presence on the scale of time and eternity, being always supported by their devotion, patriotism and spirit of sacrifice of certain personalities of an undoubted intellectual and moral value, which did not hesitate from anything, not even from risking their own life for the country’s interests
