Rezumat

The Organic Rules of Valahia is the first set of laws which regulated commerce in the Romanian Countries, being almost identically copied by Moldova, a year later. Through it the modern state organization was introduced, including a certain separation of public powers. For the first time, there was proclaimed the freedom of internal commerce, especially the one with products – corn, potatoes, grain – but, also between the two principalities, settlements which are found also in the Commercial Code of Romania of 1887. The acts of commerce classify them in major and accessories and brings a judicial novelty by establishing for the first time on Romanian soil, the Commercial Tribunals in Bucharest, Iasi and Craiova.
