: Objective: to study the gene polymorphism of growth hormone (GH)and pituitary transcription factor (Pit-1) in bulls and heifers of Aberdeen-Angus and conduct a search of associations of polymorphic variants of these genes with productive qualities of animals. In the studied samples by gene GH the highest frequency of allele L (among bulls and heifers among 0,79 – 0,83)and the homozygous LL genotype (frequency among the bulls to 0.60 among heifers – 0,68). The positive relationship of the heterozygous genotype LVгена GHс higher rates of growth of both bulls and heifers. By gene Pit-1 the greatest number of animals had heterozygous genotype AB (bulls – 0,51 Chicks -0,48). The frequency of allele A and b among steers and heifers is 0.46, and 0,54 0,50, 0,50, respectively. Among the bulls with the best growth had animals with the homozygous genotype BB, and among heifers with the homozygous genotype AA. Combined evaluation of the two genes GH and Pit-bulls 1среди desirable genotype are LV/AB and LL/VV, and among heifers – LL/AA, LV/LV, and AA/AB, with higher rates of growth and development. Conclusion. The influence of genes GH and Pit-1 on the growth and development of young cattle of the Aberdeen-Angus breed |
