In the article the author presents the results of theoretical and empirical study of social representations of Gagauz and Bulgarian youth of the Republic of Moldova. Namely the author researches their representations, perceptions, views regarding their ethnic group. The representations, generally, reflect the culturally invariant characteristics of ethnic groups that are part of their worldview. The conclusion is made that social representations determine the vector and the degree of their social activity.

В статье представлены результаты проведенного теоретико- эмпирического исследования социальных представлений молодежи гагаузов и болгар Республики Молдова. Изучаются их представления о своей этнической группе. В представлениях отражаются культурно-инвариативные характеристики этнических групп, входящие в их картину мира. Делается вывод о том, что социальные представления определяют вектор и степень социальной активности молодёжи.
