When we were studying herbicidal properties of plants of local flora, we have chosen experimental plants with the highest maintenance of phenolic fractions. The basic method of laboratory researches was a method of biological tests. Water and alcohol extracts of bioactive plants were studied. Biotests were the seeds of weeds - Setaria glauca L. and Amaranthus retroflexus L. High herbicidal activity was observed at alcohol extracts of an Artemisia absinthium L. (f.Asteraceae), a Juglans regia L. (f.Juglandaceae), an Ailanthus altissima Mill. (f.Simaroubaceae) and a Vitis vinifera L. (f.Vitaceae) (83 % - 100 %). The alcohol extracts are much more effective than water extracts, as herbicidal activity is caused by presence of glykolypids and phospholipids. |
