Rezumat | ||||||
The article addresses various issues related to the process of manipula-ting mass consciousness in the conditions of the information society. Theoretical dimensions of the manipulation phenomenon are analyzed, through contemporary information channels and frequently used techniques. Information manipulation can be performed directly and indirectly. Any type of manipulation, either direct or indirect, generates a series of consequences on the human psyche, but also on society in general. In the con-text of an information society, media education promoted in schools is an effective long-term solution that will prevent the unwanted consequences of manipulation. |
