Rezumat

The elite of The Romanians in trianon Hungary, as much as it is, is hitting an all-encompassing reality. It is the impossible objectivity when writing about our own past. This phenomenon has been publicly assumed since the second half of the 1990s. Romanians in Hungary are faced with a great challenge related to the analysis of their own age in the area of the state in which they live. For the Romanian intellectual elite, this issue has been and is a very complicated issue to address. The Hungarian historiography largely refuses, starting with the authors of the second half of the 18th century, to accept the presence of a Romanian population in Transylvania before the 15th-16th centuries. Under these circumstances, in the last century, the Romanian researcher in the neighboring country is almost impossible to say anything other than the official version of Hungarian historiography.
