| Rezumat | ||||||
The author points out a necessity in studying ethnic heterostereotypes as a marker for ethnic identity. As example, the ethnic heterostereotypes of Bulgarian and Gagauzian youth show that in the sphere of intergroup relations they have a problem – detachment from each other. Nevertheless, they have a powerful resource – a positive ethnic identity, which has to be enhanced, including not only a positive self-identification, but a positive image of the “Other” as well. |
