Romania’s EU integration requires the solving of some social integration problems of different population groups, among them the people with disabilities which are limited to the specifi c needs of: building access ramps, audio-visual signals and socio-economic support. On this line are also situated the botanical gardens, institutions which are pursuing the accessibility of physical environment and information and are promoting the concept of “access for all” or “society for all”. This paper is focused on the fi nding of the best ways of using the heritage of the botanical gardens in order to achieve the accessibility of the social environment for any member of the community. |
